Can anyone help me recover lost/damaged photos from a memory stick?
I have a Sony DSC-W50 digital camera with a relatively new Sony 4GB memory stick ‘pro duo’. I was on holiday last week and had around 300 (perfectly viewable) photos saved when the camera decided it would stop reading the memory card and not let me view all the photos I had taken or take any more snaps. The screen is blue and there is an error code C-13-01. I have been told the photos are still there but I need, somehow, to get them off the damaged/corrupted memory stick.
Really worried I am not going to be able to retrieve all of these very valuable pictures!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.

All you need to do is go to a computer store that offers USB media card readers. I can buy them for less than $10 at a local store here. you should be able to find the same.
Once you use it, you’ll be able to see the media card as if it’s another drive on your computer in the “My Computer” section of Windows Explorer. All your files will be there if there’s no damage on your media card. This includes the Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo.
