Methods In Which Photography Instructions And Education Have Changed
I was looking at a good photography forum this morning and realized that young photographers now are lucky to have the internet as a resource. With the arrival of the state-of-the-art cameras came the many tutorials on how to use them. The best part is that any person who wants to learn more can click his way to the best photography tutorials online.
When I think about my younger days, I remember tinkering around the dark room with my uncle as he educated me how photographs are developed. So dark was the room that I could see nothing at all except at times he would turn on the very dim red bulb, I don’t know on what interval. I was educated how to print the photographs after taking the film out properly in that room. The job was not easy but those days inside that room inspired me to be a good photographer. The same excitement was there as when I was shooting photographs with my uncle. There are times when I felt very gloomy after a roll ends and I still have things I want to shoot. This is not the case with the way taking photographs is taught currently and modern high-tech devices and techniques have allowed the development of more photography applications. Black and white was the medium I grew up with. Other media like Kodachrome was introduced back in 1935 but I didn’t get the chance to use it. Machines for printing photographs have made life as a photographer more relaxed.
The area of photography, however, went through complete change when it turned digital. For instance, using memory cards as opposed to films made it more convenient to store hundreds of photos. There is no more need to discover photo development because of digital technology, and putting out photographs has never been simpler. Just shoot pictures, upload them into your notebook and you can view everything. You can erase the ones you don’t like and keep the ones you like, and when there is no space in the memory card, you can simply erase or format the card so that you can store some more photographs, so you don’t have to keep on purchasing when one is full like in the past when you were using a film camera.
